Yes, SIDBI’s selection process does include an interview round (also referred to as a personal interview or PI). For the Grade A (Assistant Manager) position, the typical stages are:
Candidates who clear both Phase I and Phase II are shortlisted for the interview, which is usually conducted by a panel at SIDBI offices. The interview panel evaluates candidates on various aspects such as communication skills, domain knowledge (especially in MSME financing and developmental banking), awareness of current economic issues, and overall personality. In some years, additional weightage is given for extracurricular achievements and relevant experience.
